Through our Fiscal Sponsorship Program, we empower filmmakers to realize their vision by providing fiscal support through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, enabling you to accept grants and donations and pursue tax-deductible fundraising.

Fiscal sponsorship is a financial arrangement that allows your film project to operate under our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This enables you to apply for grants and accept tax-deductible donations from individuals and foundations. We act as the pass-through for these funds, providing your donors with official tax receipts while you maintain full independence in managing your project’s production, legal obligations, and daily operations.

We support films made in Montana and are committed to the Montana film industry. To qualify for our program, your project must be filmed at least 50% in Montana.

No. We are here to provide fiscal support, not artistic direction, input, or control. You retain 100% of the creative control, intellectual property, and copyright of your project.

We charge a tiered accounting fee of 5.25% to 7% on all funds. The fee is tiered based on funds raised.
